B. Final tournament<br />

10.07 If <strong>the</strong> referee declares <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> play unfit for play, <strong>the</strong> match will be played <strong>the</strong><br />

following day, unless, for reasons beyond control, <strong>the</strong> match cannot take place<br />

<strong>the</strong>n. In this case, <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration will take a final decision.<br />

10.08 If a match cannot commence or is abandoned before <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> normal playing<br />

time or during any extra time because <strong>the</strong> field is not fit for play or for o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

reasons, it must be played or replayed in full <strong>the</strong> next day. If, for reasons beyond<br />

control, <strong>the</strong> match cannot be replayed <strong>the</strong> next day, <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration will<br />

take a final decision.<br />

VIII<br />

Match Dates, Venues and Kick-<strong>of</strong>f Times<br />

Article 11<br />

11.01 The competition will be staged over <strong>the</strong> two seasons that follow <strong>the</strong> 2010 FIFA<br />

World Cup.<br />

A. Qualifying competition<br />

Match dates<br />

11.02 The following twelve dates are reserved for <strong>the</strong> group matches in <strong>the</strong> qualifying<br />

competition <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 2010-12 <strong>UEFA</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Football</strong> <strong>Championship</strong>:<br />

2010<br />

a) 3/4 and 7 September 2010<br />

b) 8/9 and 12 October 2010<br />

2011<br />

c) 25/26 and 29 March 2011<br />

d) 3/4 and 7 June 2011<br />

e) 2/3 and 6 September 2011<br />

f) 7/8 and 11 October 2011 (dates for <strong>the</strong> last matches in all groups)<br />

11.03 The following two dates are reserved for <strong>the</strong> play-<strong>of</strong>f matches between <strong>the</strong><br />

remaining eight runners-up:<br />

a) 11/12 November 2011<br />

b) 15 November 2011<br />

11.04 Matches as referred to in paragraph 11.02 may be played on o<strong>the</strong>r dates if both<br />

associations concerned are in agreement and <strong>the</strong> principles governing <strong>the</strong> release<br />

<strong>of</strong> players for association teams as laid out in Annex 1, Article 1 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> FIFA<br />

<strong>Regulations</strong> for <strong>the</strong> Status and Transfer <strong>of</strong> Players are adhered to. The<br />

associations in a group have 30 days after <strong>the</strong> draw in which to agree on <strong>the</strong> order<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir matches. The exact date <strong>of</strong> each match must be specified (e.g. Saturday 4<br />

September 2010). If <strong>the</strong> associations in question are unable to reach agreement,<br />
