18.14 Should <strong>the</strong> reigning titleholder qualify for <strong>the</strong> final tournament, it must wear <strong>the</strong><br />
titleholder logo badge positioned in <strong>the</strong> centre <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> free zone <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> right shirt<br />
sleeve (instead <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> competition logo badge).<br />
18.15 <strong>UEFA</strong> provides <strong>the</strong> associations with sufficient badges to cover <strong>the</strong>ir needs (as<br />
determined by <strong>UEFA</strong>). Nei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> competition logo badge nor <strong>the</strong> titleholder logo<br />
badge may be used in any o<strong>the</strong>r competition, nor may <strong>the</strong>y or any logo<br />
incorporated in <strong>the</strong>m be used for any o<strong>the</strong>r purpose, including commercial or<br />
promotional activities.<br />
Respect badge<br />
18.16 <strong>UEFA</strong> also provides <strong>the</strong> associations that qualify for <strong>the</strong> final tournament with a<br />
<strong>UEFA</strong> Respect badge. This badge must be worn positioned horizontally and in <strong>the</strong><br />
centre <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> free zone <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> left shirt sleeve (from <strong>the</strong> perspective <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> wearer).<br />
This badge may not be used for any o<strong>the</strong>r purpose, including commercial or<br />
promotional activities.<br />
Colours<br />
18.17 The <strong>UEFA</strong> administration issues a written decision regarding <strong>the</strong> playing colours for<br />
matches in <strong>the</strong> final tournament. If on <strong>the</strong> match day, in <strong>the</strong> opinion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> referee<br />
or <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration, <strong>the</strong> colours <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> two teams could lead to confusion,<br />
<strong>the</strong>y will be changed. The decision <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration in consultation with<br />
<strong>the</strong> referee is final.<br />
Kit free <strong>of</strong> sponsor advertising<br />
18.18 All kit items worn during <strong>the</strong> final tournament must be free <strong>of</strong> any sponsor<br />
advertising, in particular:<br />
a) for any event held at a stadium, from arrival at <strong>the</strong> stadium until departure from<br />
<strong>the</strong> stadium;<br />
b) for any training session designated as <strong>of</strong>ficial by <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration; and<br />
c) at any <strong>of</strong>ficial <strong>UEFA</strong> press conference.<br />
Special material<br />
18.19 Each association participating in <strong>the</strong> final tournament may be provided with special<br />
material (drinking bottles, medical bags, warm-up bibs, captain’s armbands, drinks<br />
cooler etc.) which must be used at <strong>the</strong> final tournament, to <strong>the</strong> exclusion <strong>of</strong> any<br />
similar items.<br />
Warm-up bibs<br />
18.20 Only warm-up bibs provided by <strong>UEFA</strong> may be used during <strong>of</strong>ficial training<br />
sessions, pre-match warm-up held at a stadium and <strong>the</strong> warm-up <strong>of</strong> substitute<br />
players during <strong>the</strong> match.<br />
