Understand the infection control and prevention issues related to sexually transmitted infections.
Objectives
• Identify reportable sexually transmitted diseases and the appropriate forms used in the state
of Wisconsin.
• Recognize the clinical manifestation of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
• State practices used in the community to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted
infections.
• Recall the significant statistics related to STD's in the community.
