PREVENTION SERVICES – FEEDBACK FROM A
VARIETY OF ACTIVITY SESSIONS: - COVERING
REPORT
1. PURPOSE OF THE REPORT
1.1 To facilitate a discussion amongst Members of this Forum in relation to:-
(a) the group exercises with partner organisations / parents held on 19
October 2010;
(b) the Conference held on 10 December 2010;
(c) the activity sessions with families held on 18 January 2011;
(d) the ‘Think Family’ Questionnaire that was distributed to families via
family support groups, parenting groups, Children’s Centres,
Children’s Fund, Team around the Primary School, Team around the
Secondary School and Barnardos.
2. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
2.1 Members will recall that at the meeting of this Forum on 6 September 2010,
the Terms of Reference and Potential Areas of Inquiry / Sources of Evidence
for this Scrutiny investigation were approved by the Forum.

group exercise.
