Registrati<strong>on</strong> requirements and guidelines for pr<strong>of</strong>iciency testing and other<br />
auditing activities will be prepared.<br />
The PMU will establish and maintain a database <strong>of</strong> all authorized staff and<br />
accredited laboratories in the regi<strong>on</strong>. Informati<strong>on</strong> in the database will be<br />
made available to stakeholders.<br />
3.4 Informati<strong>on</strong><br />
Once a year each NSA operating under the System must submit informati<strong>on</strong><br />
to the PMU about seed activities carried out under the System. Based <strong>on</strong><br />
the NSA reports, the PMU will prepare a c<strong>on</strong>solidated document, which<br />
will report <strong>on</strong> the operati<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> the System, record the quantities <strong>of</strong> seed<br />
that have been handled, and analyze other important aspects <strong>of</strong> System<br />
performance.<br />
3.5 Fees<br />
NSA will charge their regular fees for nati<strong>on</strong>al certificati<strong>on</strong> – this also<br />
applies for seed intended for certificati<strong>on</strong> under the SADC System.<br />
3.6 Appeals<br />
The PMU, in c<strong>on</strong>sultati<strong>on</strong> with the SSC and NSAs, will prepare procedures<br />
for appeals, taking into account the SADC Trade Protocol.<br />
