6 Connection "RS485"<br />

6.1 Connections<br />

A <strong>Pfeiffer</strong> Vacuum display and control panel (DCU or HPU) or an external PC can be<br />

connected to the electronic drive unit via the connection designated "RS485". The<br />

interface is electrically isolated from the maximum supply voltage of the electronic<br />

drive unit. The electrical couplings are optically decoupled internally.<br />

Use the connection cable supplied with the control panel or from the range of<br />

accessories.<br />

The connection of respectively one external operating unit is possible on the interface<br />

RS 485.<br />

A USB interface (PC) can be connected via the USB/RS485-converter.<br />
