Many of these paints are resistant to rainfall and produce a durable and highly visual white line. Some can be used on both natural (grass) and artificial turf surfaces. Ready to Use These paints require no dilution. Some can be poured direct into a spray tank whilst others such as Impact formulations can be applied direct from its container. No measuring, no mixing and no mess. Major advances have been made in formulation technology allowing a pitch to be marked using from 1 litre of paint. Ready to use paints can be used on grass, hard and artificial surfaces and many can be applied either through a spray applicator or from a transfer wheel. Available in a range of pack sizes, including 1000 litre bulk IBC’s. Dilutables These paints need to be diluted with varying amounts of water to achieve the quality of line required. The paint has to be measured, mixed and poured into the marking machine tank. Available in a range of pack sizes, including 1000 litre bulk IBC’s. Permanent paints Not for use on grass but for marking long lasting lines on manmade hard or artificial surfaces. Aerosols Highly concentrate paint formulations, contained in a can with gas added to allow the paint to be expelled under pressure as a fine spray through a nozzle; Quick to use but expensive if marking a large area. Blockage of nozzles and difficulty in use under cold conditions can be a problem. Whiting powder Mixed with water or applied dry, they are available as low cost, fine-grade, chalk-based materials.
