How Crossbar works
Crossbar contains three powerful active ingredients – fluroxypyr,
2,4-D and dicamba.
Fluroxypyr belongs to the pyridine carboxylic acids group of
chemicals and is active at very low dose rates and readily
translocated through the target weeds. Dicamba and 2,4-D also
work by interrupting plant hormone activity in susceptible weed
species.
How to use Crossbar
Buttercup, Creeping
Cat’s Ear
Apply when the weeds are actively growing (normally between
April and September) and when the soil is moist. Best results are
obtained by applying in spring or early summer before weeds
begin to flower.
New turf may be treated in the spring provided that at least two
months have elapsed between sowing and treatment.
Repeat application 8-10 weeks after first application if
necessary.
