Hosts ‘Jammin’ In The Vineyards’
Jammin’ In The Vineyards, the Little Vineyard’s
monthly summer music series that was launched
in June and set to run through the end of summer
has been expanded to include October, announced
Rich Little, winegrower and jam-master of the
music series.
The final show of the season is set for October
11. The Jammin’ session begins at 5 p.m. and lasts
until 8 p.m. Admission is free with barbeque
sandwiches and wine by the glass or bottle
available for purchase.
“We wanted to extend our passion for music
and wine with friends,” said Rich Little. “The
monthly jamming nights have been a big hit that
we wanted to keep going, so we added October
11. Playing music in the vineyard, having friends
come over and enjoy a great night in Glen Ellen is
the best part.”
Little Vineyards Family Winery produces small
lots of Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and
Petite Sirah as well as beautiful red blends, all from
grapes grown on the property.
The tasting room is open Thursday through
Monday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For $20, guests
can take part in An Introduction to Wine Tasting –
a great way for beginners to start their wine
country experience. Guests are always welcome to
picnic on the patio. Hilltop Food and Wine Pairing
Lunches overlooking the estate vineyards are
available with advance notice. Picnic box lunches
are $30 per person. Margie’s gourmet lunches are
