Pacific Lanes is a great place to bring
the whole family and enjoy a night of
bowling and bonding.
After giving a good listen to
Jodee’s karaoke contestants, everybody
had their favorites picked out.
But it would be up to the judges, who
quickly exited to deliberate.
After some open mic karaoke,
and maybe a few line dances, Jodee
cleared her throat, ready to reveal the
winners for the evening. The whole
room leaned in with anticipation.
“We have a tie for 2nd Place,” she
says. Everyone exhaled.

even more fun somehow.
One hard-to-find perk that you’ll
enjoy at O'Houlies is Host Deanna’s
complete collection of LDs. For you
young ones, those are the original
Large Discs that we used to play, way
back when karaoke was new on the bar
scene 25 years ago. These discs feature
videos in the background and the
soundtracks are about as close to the
original songs as I've ever heard. It was
also refreshing to note that it wasn't
just one type of music being sung. Elder
singers didn’t sing just the oldies, and

Michelle Bernath: OK... hands down, the BEST washroom I've ever seen
is at the FOE Eagles 195 in Snohomish; it's super clean, very pretty.
Second is probably Norm's Place in Everett. Love the "Pepto-Bismol pink"
wall there!
The total WORST has to be the Oxford in Snohomish... I hate drinking
there because I never want to go into that Ladies room... GROSS!

The Top 3 Finalists were handed
a prize, including gift certificates, and
it was over. Pacific Lanes first karaoke
contest. It was a great success, and
they want to continue to host a contest
each month. In fact, it’s been set for
the 2nd Friday of each month, which
makes it February 11th this month.
Come on out and support Jodee
and her karaoke show. Bring your
appetite, have some dinner in the bar
before karaoke starts up. Or better
yet, strap on a pair of shoes and get
out there and bowl a few frames.
Regular karaoke every Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday at 9pm start.
