Kurdish Parties Coalition is due to hold today a meeting led by Kurdistan leader Massoud
Barazani to discuss the government formation process and Kurds share of ministerial
portfolios.
Al Iraqiya List headed by Iyad Allawi convened on Friday to name a leader for the list
inside the Parliament.
Al Iraqiya meeting discussed the list bylaws and the progress of the negotiation
committee charged of ministerial distribution, the list MP Aliya Nassif told Alsumaria

parties in Iraq convened on Friday in Arbil to discuss danger looming over the Christian

The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, announced that “The next government formation will be
announced on the mid of next December.
He said in a press conference on Saturday “The next government formation will include
new ministries besides the current ministries,” stressing that “The new formation will
involve three Deputies for the Premier to assume the economic, energy and the services
tasks.”
“We are still adherent to the agreements related to the authorities of the National
Council for the Strategic Policies despite the fact that this Council has no constitutional
ground,” he assured.
