central database to store personnel data from all servers in the<br />

C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central Network.<br />

C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central provides users with ability to manage<br />

centrally card enrolment in an enterprise access control<br />

system. Card holder updates are automatically distributed to<br />

all servers in the C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central Network. The platform<br />

independent architecture of C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central supports the<br />

industry standard network protocol, TCP/IP, which allows<br />

seamless integration with other systems and components<br />

that may already exist within an enterprise’s network.<br />

The C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central Client provides security in the form<br />

of authentication via a login username and password. All<br />

transactions between the browser client and the web server<br />

are encrypted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). In addition,<br />

public key encryption is used between the C•<strong>CURE</strong> Central<br />

server and the local C•<strong>CURE</strong> system servers to enhance data<br />

security.<br />
