C•CURE Central allows users to administer personnel over a
network of C•CURE800/8000 systems from a web browser
application anywhere in the world. C•CURE Central uses
central database to store personnel data from all servers in the
C•CURE Central Network.
C•CURE Central provides users with ability to manage
centrally card enrolment in an enterprise access control
system. Card holder updates are automatically distributed to
all servers in the C•CURE Central Network. The platform
independent architecture of C•CURE Central supports the
industry standard network protocol, TCP/IP, which allows
seamless integration with other systems and components
that may already exist within an enterprise’s network.
The C•CURE Central Client provides security in the form
of authentication via a login username and password. All
transactions between the browser client and the web server
are encrypted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). In addition,
public key encryption is used between the C•CURE Central
server and the local C•CURE system servers to enhance data
security.
