WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND FACILITIES
The organisation of the EYOF Utrecht 2013 set up office
in a building of the Municipality of Utrecht.
PROJECT STRUCTURE
During earlier sports events organised in The Netherlands, it
became clear that the organisation of a major event is something
that involves several management dimensions. It calls for tight
operational management, but also for sensitive entourage
management and successful commercial management.
This earlier experience was utilized in the development of the
project plan for the EYOF Utrecht 2013. A project structure
based on three main themes was developed, namely public
affairs, operational affairs and commercial affairs. It was
possible to define different clusters per main theme, which
were worked out in more detail in a sub-project level.
The Model Approach to Events formed the basis for this.
This is the approach that NOC*NSF recommends to Dutch
sports federations that are organising elite sports events.
