October 2009 made the above
mentioned Order under Section
90 of the Highways Act 1980.
2. Sinusoidal raised tables would
be constructed and maintained:
(a) with a maximum height
of 75 millimetres and length
of 11 metres and extending
across the full width of the
carriageway in Penton Street,
outside No. 58 Penton Street;
and
(b) with a maximum height
of 75 millimetres and length
of 14 metres and extending
across the full width of the
carriageway in Newington
Green Road (the arm which
lies west of No. 47 Newington
Green Road) outside Nos. 51 to
57 Newington Green Road.
3. The Order, which will come
into force on 4 November
2009 and other documents

the existing solo motorcycle
parking place on the south east

Grove to a residents bay and to
convert 11 metres of shared
use parking space (business
permit holders and pay and
display) on the north west side
opposite the junction of Hartnoll
Street to a solo motorcycle
parking place;
(b) in Market Road to introduce
five new disabled persons’ “blue
badge” parking bays on north
side, adjacent to the offices of
Scope, No. 6 Market Road;
(c) to provide “at any time”
waiting restrictions in the
lengths of street referred to in
Schedule 1 to this Notice;

to build road humps and raised
entry treatments in various
streets within the Hanley Road
Area under Section 90 of
the Highways Act 1980, and
proposes to make the above
mentioned 20mph Speed Limit
Order under Section 84(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended.
2. The sinusoidal road humps
would be constructed and
maintained with a maximum
height of 75 millimeters and
length of 3.7 metres and
extending across the full width of
the carriageway. The sinusoidal
road humps would be in the
following locations:

20mph Order would be to
introduce a 20 mph speed
limit on the following streets:
