Note the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)<br />

number of your phone and put it where you can easily<br />

find it (of course not in your purse). Most probably your<br />

purse was also stolen with your phone. Dial *#06#<br />

at your mobile phone and a 15 digit number appears.<br />

This is the IMEI number of your phone. As soon as you<br />

realize your phone is stolen immediately call your service<br />

provider (Avea, Turkcell…) and give the IMEI number.<br />

The company will immediately put your number out of<br />

operation. Even if the SIM card is changed no body can<br />

use the phone other than you.<br />

To obtain an invoiced line subscription, you will need:<br />

— Passport (if your passport is written in a language<br />

that does not used the Latin Alphabet, you will need<br />

to have your passport translated and certified by a<br />

Notary Public. Most translation companies will take<br />

care of getting the translated copy certified on your<br />
