Paper Ordering Information
Because of their large size, sheets of paper cannot be combined
with book/supply orders for shipping. Only large
orders of paper are shipped flat. If you combine a Paper
Sheet Order with a Book/Supply Order, please add the
additional “Paper Shipping.” That is, first total the books/
supplies & figure the shipping on those. Then total the
cost of the paper sheets & add Paper Shipping.

PAPYRUS
This ancient writing surface is made by pounding
together two layers of strips cut lengthwise from the rush,
Cyperus papyrus. After drying in the sun, the writing
surface is smoothed with pumice. This proto-paper was
used for over 3000 years before being replaced by parchment
and paper.
PS68. Papyrus. Handmade in Egypt. Untrimmed.
Approx 16"x20". Some surface texture, but accepts the ink
well. The strips of reed are readily apparent in this translucent
