Key-alike policy to match locks<br />
ordered prior to 6/12/00<br />
Equity<br />
In order to specify an Equity<br />
locking component with an ‘‘H’’<br />
series core, apply an ‘‘A’’ suffix to<br />
the Equity Base pattern number.<br />
All keyed locks in the Equity<br />
system are randomly* keyed, as a<br />
standard offering. For those<br />
requiring all locks within a<br />
workstation (or group of<br />
workstations) to be keyed alike,<br />
Equity also offers a key-alike<br />
option.<br />
Equity Locking Components<br />
Identify the cabinets to be keyed<br />
alike by adding the suffix ‘‘P’’ to<br />
the standard catalog number (i.e.,<br />
EC20F36AP indicates a key-alike<br />
EC20F36A cabinet). The cabinet<br />
will be factory-prepared with the<br />
hardware mechanisms excluding the<br />
lock core and key. List price will be<br />
reduced by $22.<br />
Multiple Key-Alike Packages<br />
For multiple keys of the same<br />
number, specify ALCKE - (number<br />
of keys desired, from 2 to 8.) Price<br />
is: Number of Keys x $22. (i.e.:<br />
ALCKE-5 Pkg. of five cores with<br />
keys = $110.00)<br />
Lock Cores<br />
The same lock core fits all Equity<br />
cabinets and pedestals but is<br />
different from the ‘‘K’’ series core.<br />
Order the lock cores required<br />
separately (ALCKE series). Cores<br />
are numbered sequentially, with<br />
up to 250 different combinations<br />
available (ALCKEH6001-<br />
ALCKEH6250). Use one line item<br />
for each quantity of lock cores to be<br />
keyed alike. Series H6001-H6100<br />
are standard lead-time.<br />

All specific keying sequence begins<br />
at H6001, unless otherwise<br />
requested.<br />
Master Key<br />
A master key (AKM) is available<br />
that will unlock all cabinets and<br />
pedestals with the same prefix<br />
letter, for example: H6001, H6002.<br />
A single key is supplied and<br />
priced, as shown below.<br />

Example: On an order, two workstations each contain two suspended files, two overhead cabinets, and<br />
a Radius pedestal. The customer wishes to have all components in the workstation keyed alike, and<br />
each workstation keyed differently. The following should be ordered.<br />
