Application Notes
A family of parts that can be
mounted to the top of Raceway
panels. Will accommodate up to 30
Category 5 data/communications
cables in the straight run and 15
Category 5 cables in a 90°
configuration. No fishing of cables
is required for installation.
Transition pieces:Injection-molded
plastic pieces that fill the space
between panels and are installed
after the cables are laid in. Cut-out
allows interface with a 65 high
panel while knockouts provide
vertical cable exits.
Horizontal channel:
A5 high aluminum extrusion
which has the same length and
thickness as the panel top caps and
is open on the top. The 5 height,
when added to a 60 panel, allows
for even alignment with a 65 panel.
Panel top caps are removed adn the
DataTrak channels mounted to the
top of the panel. Cables are laid into
the channel and the panel top cap
then snaps onto the top of the
channel to close it.
