The fresh browse that is used regularly<br />
in th e enrichment colander is often<br />
the b rowse l eft o ver f rom t he K oalas,<br />
but many other species can be used.<br />

natural habitat. These species are also<br />
low m aintenance w hich m eans t hey<br />
would be easy to keep in a plantation<br />

furniture in an ex hibit as t hey r equire<br />
little wat er and m aintenance an d ar e<br />
a variety of shapes and colours.<br />
The f eed p latforms t hat are m entioned i n the c alendar consist of t wo t ypes. These a re<br />
switched around to provide extra enrichment. One is a free standing platform that stands<br />
in th e g round. The o ther i s a h anging p latform t hat is su spended f rom t he c eiling. Th e<br />
designs of such devices are limited only by the keepers’ imagination.<br />
