As in any Baggage Handling System project numerical analysis of the Airport Baggage Projected flows and integration of these flows into comprehensive schematics were part of our project responsibilities. Bids were received from qualified international contractors and responsibility for bid evaluation and comparison reports were part of ARC’s responsibilities. Aviation Board of Directors and Senior Management presentations of our recommendations and analysis were performed resulting in the selection of the best possible solution for the airport Baggage Handling Systems. Systems designs incorporated the use of Tilt-Tray Baggage Sortation systems for main sort and transport of baggage and conventional Baggage Belt - Pusher systems for the secondary sort to aircraft gate loading positions. Our project assignments were targeted at producing the overall Baggage Handling Systems portion of the passenger terminal Master Plan. ARC performed the overall data acquisition, schematic design, concept development and analysis for the Baggage Handling Systems Master Plan Report.
