Editorial
Dear Readers,
If you want to stay competitive, you have
to keep production running effi ciently.
Maximum operating effi ciency is the goal for
which SIG Combibloc strives when working
with its customers around the world. As new
Head of the Global Sales, Service and Marketing
activities at SIG Comibloc, this will be an
important topic for me in the future.
Our new high-speed fi lling machines make
this goal a reality. In this issue’s cover story,
we would like to introduce a few of these
machines, including the new CFA812 for
medium size packages with an output of
12.000 packages per hour, as well as the
new CFA124 and CFA724, now the fastest
aseptic fi lling machines in the world for
small size carton packages. These machines
can fi ll 24,000 carton packs per hour in
combiblocMini or combiblocSmall respectively,
increasing production volumes by up to 100
per cent – and making the day as productive
as though there were 48 hours in it!
The examples of Cemil (Brazil) and Friesland
Foods Foremost (Thailand) give you a taste
of the high-speed fi lling machines CFA812
resp. CFA124 in action.
But effi cient production alone is not enough
to keep you one step ahead of the competition.
Read how our customers are responding effectively
to changing consumer needs, including
offering a variety of taste experiences and
new ingredients that are in tune with the
growing health-consciousness of consumers.
Not to mention innovative packaging solutions
that use new formats, volumes and opening
solutions to reach new target groups and open
up completely new areas of application.
