States Army and served until

to the bench, Judge Harris
worked as a U.S. Army Judge Advocate. He also worked
in the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services,
Legal Corporation of Iowa, and the Black Hawk County
Attorney’s Office.

Bar Association, the Iowa Judges Association, and the
American Judicature Society. He is a member of the
Judicial Council Advisory Committee on Fine Collection
Procedures, Practices, and Rules.
Family: Judge Moothart is married with two children.

private practice in Cedar Falls,
Iowa from 1977 until 1985.
