25 THERMOMETER Tamson Thermometer 3 decimals (TT3) IEC 5293 APPLICATION The calibration of probes, thermometers, instruments, and indicators and temperature measurement of viscosity baths. MAIN CHARACTERISTICS The Tamson Thermometer has a three decimal reading. The thermometer uses a standard PT100 probe for measurements from -20 ..+250°C or -4 ..+482°F. The thermometer uses an internal correction table to meet the IEC751 required accuracy of ± 0.01°C. A high accuracy data converter samples the PT100 value and a microprocessor is used to correct these values. The calibration data is kept in internal memory. A second memory offers the possibility for data logging. Sampling times can vary from 1 second to 300 seconds. At each interval the temperature is measured and stored. Each measurement has an individual time stamp and can be recalled easily using the PC software. The thermometer operates on a Battery pack. A full charge supplies power for 16 days of continuous use. When off the battery will keep its charge.
