SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
caregiver’s performance measurement information.
To expand the Court Reports Document Imaging
pilot project.
To re-structure the Department’s data reporting
based on the Director’s Goals and the DCFS
Outcome Measures.
To provide a rapid, secure electronic transmission
and receipt of mandated suspected child abuse
reports between DCFS, Sheriff, Law Enforcement
Agencies and the District Attorney’s office.
To automate a billing and invoice system for
community-based agencies.
To provide an automated Home Compliance
Tracking and Alert system to facilitate the
monitoring of Foster Home compliance to DCFS
specifications with regards to training,
assessments, and certifications.
To ensure that all Tablet PC/laptops that are
purchased and deployed have full hard disk
encryption.
To implement an Identity Management solution to
manage, control and track all Department users
that access Department systems, implement single
sign-on solution, reduce load of user security
administration and support auditing of which
systems are accessed by which user.
To modify the existing ITrack system, database
and screens to increase the ability to provide
statistical data.
To upgrade the LAN infrastructure for one site to a
100/1000 MBPS switch network.
To automate the Item Control tracking system
using the Department’s CWTAPPS database and
the CWS/CMS datamart.
To automate a system to track the number of
referrals on youth being serviced by both DCFS
and the Probation Department.
To implement a Kinship electronic document
process flow to track, control and manage all tasks
involved in the assessment process of caregiver
homes.
To purchase and install a Live Scan Store and
Forward device to be used in conjunction with
twenty-eight Live Scan terminals.
