SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
To implement Cisco Network Admission Control
(NAC) technology to provide network based
security policy management of all devices
connected to DCFS networks.
To upgrade 7000 DCFS PCs to Microsoft Office
2003 Standard with Software Assurance.
Purchase and install output devices, printers and
Multi-function Devices.
Develop a Time Study Claiming System linking the
Item Control System and the CWS/CMS datamart
to identify CSWs who are case-carrying workers in
order to produce accurate and timely State and
Federal reports.
To replace the current Welfare Case Management
Information System (WCMIS) to allow users an
interface with the Statewide Central Index System
to obtain CIN numbers and to allow the ability to
interface with other county systems.
To modify the current Work Order Tracking System
to accommodate new requirements and reports.
Purchase, install and implement Altiris Client
Management Suite to replace Novell ZenWorks
software.
Purchase workstations to replace outdated
computers and to accommodate new staff.
