Members in the News Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel Announces Social Hour Program The Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel has embarked on an exciting new program introduced nationally by Starwood Hotels and Resorts for its’ Sheraton Hotels – the Sheraton Social Hour. Designed to create and foster social interaction among guests, the Sheraton Social Hour events will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Sitrus, the Sheraton’s recently redesigned lounge. “The Sheraton Social Hour program offers guests of the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel an elevated wine tasting experience featuring some of the most highly rated wines in the world” said David Heymann, General Manager. The Sheraton Social Hour provides an opportunity for guests of the hotel and local patrons to taste and compare world renowned wines. Wines that are rated 90+ by Wine Spectator are provided for the event and participants can compare two 2-ounce pours for $5. A joint program developed by Wine Spectator’s premier wine experts and Sheraton’s global food and beverage team, the Social Hour has been implemented worldwide in Sheraton Hotels. Open since 1985, Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center (www.sheratonsyracuse.com) is located on the scenic campus of Syracuse University.
