This course integrates trade concepts, math skills, language skills, academic<br />

TEC-D 145, and WELD 145)<br />

Prerequisite: MATH 090 with a grade of 2.0 or above or satisfactory placement test<br />

score and concurrent enrollment in or completion of ATA requirements in AUT-T or TEC-D<br />

An exploration of computerized controls in automobiles and light trucks. Emphasis<br />

will be on input/output components and troubleshooting.<br />

PRIVATE PILOT GROUND SCHOOL<br />

AVIAT 111<br />

The student will obtain the necessary aeronautical knowledge and meet the<br />

prerequisites specified in FAR Part 61 for a private pilot airmen knowledge test.<br />

Includes aerodynamics, navigation, weather, communications, regulations, flight<br />

physiology, weight balance, and other subjects preparatory to the FAA Private<br />

Pilot written exam.<br />

written examination. Covers radio navigation, IFR flight planning and decisionmaking,<br />

ATC procedures, Federal Aviation regulations pertinent to instrument<br />

flight. FAA part 141 approved.<br />

Prerequisite: Completion of Private Pilot Ground School (AVIAT 111) or instructor’s<br />

permission.<br />
