Kiwanis Club of Palmer Township
One of the pleasures of being a Kiwanian is that we can give
back to our community through our giving programs. To do this,
we raise money through our annual golf outing in the summer,
our rose sale in the fall, and our breakfast in the spring. This
time of the year, the Kiwanis Club of Palmer Township, through
the Foundation and the Club, make donations to a number of
local agencies and organizations which include:
• Salvation Army - $500.00 towards their Learning Zone
Program, which is an after school program for children from
low income homes.
• The Children’s Home of Easton - $500.00 to support the
Emergency Shelter Program for children.
• Third Street Alliance - $500.00 for a portable washing sink
for preschool classroom in the Learning Center.

• Lehigh Valley Children’s Center - $400.00 to cover the cost of painting 2 to 3 childhood classrooms.
• ProJect of Easton - $750.00 for their Sizzle Program, which provides a free summer literacy day camp for at
risk, low income children K through 5th grade.
• Civic Theatre of Allentown - $500.00 to provide free tickets for at risk youth.
• Weed and Seed Program of Easton - $500.00 to support their various youth programs.
The Foundation also supports the Kiwanis Club of Palmer Township Endowment at Northampton Community
College which has provided two scholarships to Easton Area students this year.
