SICK CALL
Jack Forbes, W6QP, suffered a stroke on June 20th, but appears to be
recovering nicely. He's home and ambulatory.
Clint Call, W60FT, is doing nicely since his medicos embedded a load of
surplus metal in his spine. Tough way to get you up on the repeater,
Clint, but it's nice to have you on as a regular.
Felix, N6IE, likewise has been on the binnacle list for some surgery at
the VA Hospital. Understand he's back out and recuperating.
DOWN THE TOOBE
Bill Driml, W6NAT, is threatening us again. Sez he's coming down and put
in an appearance at the ARRL National Convention in San Diego the first
weekend in September. He says "Hi" to all as he re-gnus his subscription.
We hope that you'll all make note of the item on the amateur radio
licensing course put on by Ron, W6TXK, starting in September so that you
can pass the word along to prospective new hams.
The Gin't Computer is broken down and Ron, WI6B is going to haul part of
mine over to K6ROR's on a mission of mercy. If it works, you'll get your
Scope. If it doesn't, you won't, but at least you'll know why you didn't
get it!
"That's all", she wrote.
