The details of tender documents can be had from our Web site:
www.panthanivas.com / www.otdc.in . The Tender paper will be received up to 3 P.M of
10.06.2011 at O.T.D.C. Head office by speed post/registered post/Courier Service only
and will be opened on the same day at 4.00 P. M. The O.T.D.C. Ltd. will not be held
responsible for postal delay.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without
assigning any reason there of.
The sealed covers should be superscribed “Tender for……………………………”. The Tenders
shall be addressed to the Sr. Divisional Manager (Building Project)-II, Orissa Tourism
Development Corporation Ltd., Panthanivas (Old Block), Lewis Road, Bhubaneswar –
751 014. Tenders will be received through Speed Post / Courier / Regd. Post only. OTDC will
not be responsible for any postal delay. Hand delivery will not be accepted.

Eligibility criteria:
The tender documents should contain the following without which the tender will not be
considered.
1. Cost of tender paper + 4% VAT in shape of bank draft in favour of MD,OTDC Ltd .
2. 1% EMD in shape of Bank Draft in favour of MD, OTDC Ltd
3. VAT Clearance Certificate/ TIN No
4. Up to date PAN CARD
5. Firm Registration certificate.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
a) The work has to be done on the road with busy traffic and hence suitable Traffic
Diversion/Direction measures will have to be adopted in consultation with Engineer-IN-Charge &
Traffic Police. Proper and adequate safety signboards, barricades, lighting at night shall be
displayed during day and night to ensure that no accidents take place.
b) All materials required for the work can be stacked near the site of work in such manner so as to not
to cause any inconvenience to the pedestrians or vehicular traffic.
c) No claims shall be entertained by the employer on account of phasing of such work. Temporary
structures such as go down, site office, field lab, labour camp etc. for proper execution of the
project can be constructed by the Contractor at his own cost as per prevailing rules and regulation
of Govt. Semi Govt. Department etc. after obtaining necessary permission from concerned
Department / Authority. The necessary space required for the construction of such stores can be
provided from the department at free of cost in the near vicinity of the site.
d) The structure so constructed shall be removed at contractor’s cost within one month from the date
of notice issued by the Engineer. The structures / offices are to be maintained by the Contractor at
his own cost inclusive of payment towards Electricity / Telephone / Water / Sewerage Charges etc.
e) Though the specified signage details & structure span are most unlikely to vary but the department
is not responsible if these specified spans vary due to various site conditions during the execution
stage. The bidders are supposed to make the necessary site survey before submitting the bid.
f) The bidder shall be either Regd.Manufacturer or Regd Supplier of structures .
g) The bidder should have executed similar nature of work for the value not less than Rs.10.00 lakhs
in last three years.
h) The bidder shall be a registered firm. Similarly the bidder should be an authorized converter of
sheeting manufacturer of specified sheeting. The converter should have at least last
two year’s converter ship certificate from the sheeting manufacturer & shall
have state of the art sign shop facilities.
i) The specified matter of the signboards will be given at the time of the execution. The successful
bidder should obtain the approval of Engineer-IN-Charge before manufacturing the signboards.

j) The participating bidder shall provide warranty certificate for sheeting & stainless material 7
years..
k) The contractor has to handover each installation immediately after completion.

PERFORMANCE SECURITY AND O&M PERIOD:
10% shall be kept deducted from the running bills till completion of the warranty
period and will be released after satisfactory performance during warranty period.
m) RATES IN WORD AND FIGURES :
The rates should be quoted in words and figures and the Units in words otherwise
the tender will be liable for rejection. In case of discrepancy between words and
figures, the words shall prevail and in case of discrepancy between Unit rates and
totals, the Unit rates shall prevail. The rates should be quoted in Rupees and paise
but not in Rupees and annas. The tender shall be written legibly and free from
erasures, over-writings or conversions of figures. Corrections where unavoidable
should be made by scoring out, initialing dating and rewriting. The tenders should
also show the total of each page and grand total of whole tender.
The contractors will be responsible for payment of all royalties or other charges for
quarrying materials. All local taxes inclusive of State Sales Tax and Income Tax,
Octroi charges, Ferry and Tollage charges are to be paid by the Contractor.

TENDER SCHEDULE FOR STAINLESS STEEL SIGNAGES IN TOURIST

1 Fabrication, supply and fixing of informatory signboards using
super high efficiency, full cube retro-reflective – diamond grade
DG3 sheeting white color bonded on to 4mm Aluminium Composite
Panel (0.25+3.50+0.25 - PVDF coated)over which alphabets and
numerals are reverse cut made using Electro Cut able Film with
computerized cutting plotter. The board shall be provided with
frame made out of Stainless Steel pipes of 304 grade. It shall be
mounted on vertical posts made out of 80mm NB Stainless pipe as
have been installed in Delhi including necessary excavation for
foundations concreting/reveling, etc. necessary for fixing of the
board and conveyance of all materials, equipment, machinery and
labor with all leads and lifts, loading and unloading charges
necessary for successful completion of the work.
