DETAILED TENDER CALL NOTICE
With Tender Schedule
Name Of Work: - “supply of different Furnitures to the panthnivases of OTDC
/Tourism units of Tourism Department ”.

1.INIVITATION
The Sealed Tenders in double covers are invited from reputed(Furniture
Shop/Distributors /Manufacture/Furnishing Houses for the supply of different
Furniture (specification details given below) to the panthnivases of OTDC
/Tourism units of Tourism Department
2.1 PURCHASE OF TENDER DOCUMENT
The cost of Tender documents amounting to Rs. 2000.00 + 4% towards vat is
to be attached with the Tender and should be given in shape of bank draft in
favour of Managing director, Orissa Tourism Development Corporation,
Bhubaneswar. failing which Tender will be not considered.
3. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT
Earnest money deposit Amounting to Rs. 10,000.00 is to be Enclosed in shape
of bank draft in favour of Managing director, Orissa Tourism Development
Corporation, Bhubaneswar. failing which Tender will be not considered.
3.1 Earnest money deposit of Unsuccessful Tenderers will be refunded after
finalization of Tender
4. SUBMISSION AND OPENING OF THE TENDERS
4.1 Tender are to be submitted in separated sealed covers for pre
qualification bid and financial bid.
4.2 The sealed covers should be superscribed “Tender for supply of
different furniture to the panthanivases of OTDC/Tourism unit of Tourism
Department as PRE-QUALIFICATION BID / FINACIAL BID “.
4.3 The Tender shall be addressed to the Managing Director, Orissa Tourism
Development Corporation Ltd., Panthanivas (Old Block), Lewis Road , Bhubanesar -
751014. Tender will be received through Speed Post / Regd. Post only . OTDC will
not be responsible for any postal delay
4.4 The last date of receipt of Tender is 03.08.2009 up to 3PM.

4.5 The PRE-QUALIFICATION bids will be opened at the office of the
Managing Director, Orissa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. At 4.00PM on
03.08.2009 in the presence of the Tender or his authorized representatives in the
conference hall of panthnivas Bhubaneswar. The tenders shall be sort listed on the
basis of photograph/ Catalogue, turn over and work/ supply order executed by the
firm submitted in the prequalification Bid . Short listed tenders may be asked to
display their product in OTDC head office or in this show room of the respective
firm.
4.6 The price Bids of those who qualify in the PRE-QUALIFICATION will
only be opened and separate postal information will be given to the successful
bidders of PRE-QUALIFICATION Bid.
5. TENDER VALIDITY
The Tender shall remain valid for a period of 90 days from the date of
opening.
6. DELIVERY
6..1 The finished products as per the specification are to be delivered after
within the stipulated time period from the date of issue of the order.
6.2 The time Frame and delivery is most important and should be strictly
adhered to.
6.3 The supplier shall be responsible for dispatching the material, loading &
unloading & delivery of the same in good condition
6.4 The supplier shall delivery the finished products as the per specification
within the time specified or within such extended time as may be granted by the
Orissa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. As its discretion on receiving an
application in writing from the supplier stating reasonable ground for extension.
7. DOCUMENT TO BE ATTACHED WITH PREQUALIFICATION BID
The following document shall be submitted along with Prequalification bid
for necessary evaluation .
a) Drawing photographs and detailed specification along with performance
studies undertaken if any for similar products should be provided. Specification
should also given for material to be used in the various components of the
furniture.
b) The specification given for various items in the annexure are indicative
and not exhaustive and hence the bidder is required to elaborate on the products
to be supplied by him.

c) Registration Certificate from industries Department and other such
registration.
d) Valid Income Tax clearance Certificate/PAN No.
e) Valid sale Tax Clearance Certificate/TIN No.
8. MISCELLANEOUS
i) The rates shall be submitted in the prescribed form and in English. All the
literatures and correspondence in connection with the Tender shall be English
ii) All correspondence regarding the tender should be addressed to the
Managing Director ,Orissa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. Lewis Road,
Bhubaneswar – 751014.
iii) Tender containing any deviation from the prescribed term and condition
may e rejected.
Iv) The Tenderer should sign all pages of the tender documents.
9.THE AUTHORITY MAY PLACE PURCHASE ORDERS TO SEPARATE
FIRMS FOR INDIVIDUAL ITEMS .
10. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all offer without assigning
any reason thereof.
