Athletics Centre (QSAC)<br />
Highlights<br />
• Since its commissioning prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the QAS Recovery Centre has been used by athletes more than<br />
12,000 times, who have benefitted from the facilities offered by the Centre;<br />
• A number of major national and state athletic events have been held at the venue including the Athletics Australia Cup, the<br />
<strong>Queensland</strong> Track and Field Championships and the National Track and Field Championships;<br />
• The venue hosted the 2008 Australasian Super X Championships, attracting a crowd of 20,000; and<br />
• Some 13,600 people used the publicly available facilities at QSAC for daily training sessions.<br />
