Highlights<br />
• High profile events including Billy Joel, P!nk and Simon and Garfunkel sold out multiple performances. Other International artists<br />
including Neil Young, Kings of Leon, Leonard Cohen, Stevie Wonder and John Mellencamp performed to big crowds;<br />
• Australian events contributed to another successful year with performances by The Veronicas, So You Think You Can Dance Live, El<br />
Caballo Blanco, Monster Trucks and the Creative Generation State Schools on Stage 2009;<br />
• The Anthony Mundine World Title Fight in May 2009 attracted broad media coverage for the Centre and for Brisbane to a national<br />
and international audience; and<br />
• A number of capital works projects were completed including the refurbishment of the back of house dressing rooms and an<br />
upgrade to the performers’ Green Room.<br />
