It is estimated that approximately 7.45 Mm 3 has been deposited at the site over the<br />
years, but the loss of material in fires is unknown. The management of waste has not<br />
always included the use of a landfill compactor but the density is an estimated range of<br />
0.5 – 0.75 tonnes/ m 3 (Water and Earth Science Associates Ltd. (WESA), 1998).<br />
