9.1.2 Configuring Documentation Search Service<br />

Use either wsm or smit to configure the documentation search service. If you used<br />

the Configuration Assistant Task<strong>Guide</strong> to install and configure the Documentation<br />

Search Service, you will not need to perform any further configuration.<br />

For wsm, double-click on Internet Environment icon, or you can use smit<br />

web_configure to configure the following:<br />

• Default browser<br />

Type into the field the command that launches the browser that you want to be<br />

the default browser for all users on this computer, for example,<br />

/usr/prod/bin/netscape. This will set the /etc/environment variable<br />

DEFAULT_BROWSER to the string you type in.<br />

• Documentation and search server<br />

You can define the documentation search server location to be:<br />

• None - disabled<br />

• Remote computer<br />

Type the remote documentation server name. The default TCP/IP port<br />

address is 80. Change it to the port address used by the documentation<br />

server.<br />

• Local - this computer<br />

If you are using Lotus Domino Go Webserver or IBM Internet Connection<br />

Server in the default location, all the default settings of the cgi-bin directory<br />

and HTML directory will have been filled in for you. If you are using other<br />

Web servers, or you are not using the default location, you have to fill in<br />

your cgi-bin directory and HTML directory that the Web server requires.<br />

You may change the port address used by the server. If you change the<br />
