FOR INFORMATION
6.1 Florence Street Footpath
Paving and kerbing work on the eastern footpath of Florence Street between Norman
Street and Mary Elie Street has now been completed. The protuberance in front of
Woolworths Petrol has been planted out with appropriate shrubs.
6.2 Norman Street Footpath
Kerb works has now been completed on the northern side of Norman Street from
Florence Street to the western entrance into St Joseph’s House. Footpath paving has
commenced and is anticipated to be completed by the end of June.
6.3 Kerb and Water Table Maintenance
Kerb and water table maintenance has been carried out in various locations around Port
Pirie.
6.4 Spencer Estate Footpath
Footpath paving works has continued within Spencer Estate.
6.5 Disabled Carparks – Library
Two disabled carparks have been created in the northern end of the library carpark.
Signs and bollards have been erected to identify these carparks.
6.6 Tide Valve Inspections
Tide valves have been inspected and several were cleaned by Pipeline and Plumbing
Technology in preparation for winter and high tides.
6.7 Programmed Works for June
