The Cost studies are based on incremental econanic theory and<br />

assumptions, plus @pacific Network deployment strategies, first choice<br />

provisioning guidelines, and equipment purchasing information.<br />

Cost study assumptions are as follows:<br />

1. RTU fees have bean included where applicable to account for the<br />

expense which must bo paid to the switch vendors upon termination.<br />

2. The discounted dipc0nMct factor is based on a location life of 24<br />

mnths. Service Provider Wumbar Portability is an interim soluticm that<br />

will be replaced by an AW-based application.<br />

3. In the RCO (Remote Call Fona+nq) study, the resideptial<br />

additional path assumed call waitlag and voice wssaging applications<br />

which carries a lowor wag. rate tbaa the first path. It is as.\rmcd the<br />
