A. Construction Code
3.01
Lightguide cables manufactured before May
1983 had a 15-character code. beginning with
XGAl’. The cable code has been revised. A shorter
11-character code, better suited for coding future devel-
opments, has been adopted. All cables, present and
future, are now designated by the new code (Fig. 11).
Cable codes available are listed in Table E.
