Carrying his suitcase, EDWARD comes through the woods, in sight<br />
of the cottage. He pauses, collects himself. Breaking this news<br />
is not going to be easy.<br />

The family are in the kitchen, eating lunch. EDWARD comes<br />
through the sitting room. It is his mother who sees him first<br />
