during the illness, death, and burial of one dear to us. The Family.<br />

EMMA BURKHOLDER<br />

Emma Burkholder nee Baer, born Feb. 19, 1869, Henry <strong>County</strong>, <strong>Ohio</strong>, passed away May 18, 1947, at<br />

the age of 78 years, 2 months and 20 days. For the last 8 months her health was failing. At times she<br />

suffered severe pain but the last few days of her life she seemed to be regaining strength, and death<br />

came suddenly. Marriage vows were exchanged with *Jonothan Burkholder, Sept. 27, 1888, The<br />

home was blest with eleven children, With the exception of nine years spent<br />

in Archbold and about one in Wauseon, she spent most of her life quietly on the farm. Eight years ago<br />

last September she with her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Early in her life<br />

she confessed Christ as her personal Saviour and united with the Defenseless Mennonite Church of<br />

Archbold, <strong>Ohio</strong>. her departure are four brothers: Aaron Baer of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Elmer Baer of<br />

Elkhart; Ind., Frank Baer of Archbold, <strong>Ohio</strong>, and Ira Baer of Remus, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Jemima<br />

DeLong of Wauseon, <strong>Ohio</strong>; five children: Enos of Wauseon, George of Napoleon, Frank of Wauseon,<br />

Mrs. Martin Henry and Mrs. Thomas Brinkman, both of Wauseon, O.; 24 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.<br />

Preceding her in death were her husband, six, children, and two brothers.<br />

Now our mother's task is o'er; Now her battle day is past; Now upon the farther shore Safely she<br />

is anchored fast. Father, in Thy gracious keeping Leave we now our mother sleeping.<br />

Marion Earl Beaverson<br />

Marion Earl Beaverson, son of Earl C., and Ilva Snyder Beaverson, was born in Clinton Township,<br />

<strong>Fulton</strong> <strong>County</strong>, <strong>Ohio</strong>, April 8,1924, and departed this life at the Wauseon Hospital, Sept. 1, 1945,<br />

having attained the age of 21 years, 4 months and 23 days. He resigned his will to God at the age of
