(1) A number of different other development schemes of the government are running; so, there can be horizontal integration and convergence of Programme
(2) Better financial provision under IWMP
(3) Usage of new technologies of watershed modeling and GPS for monitoring the watershed activities
(4) Online IT connectivity for managing data cell for better transparency.
Threats:
(1) It is the work apart from departmental work, so overburden may be harm for the watershed project.
(2) Rainfall being very scarce and unreliable in the project area, the activities planned to be taken up may yield limited impact
(2) Irregularities in fund flow can derail the smooth functioning
(3) Lack of contribution and cooperation from local people
