Beatboxing – The Art Of Vocal Percussion
THIS workshop teaches students to use their voice and mouths to create interesting beats and
sound effects: from instruments to animals, and even the telephone! In this engaging and dynamic
session, one of the top beatboxers in Singapore will demonstrate the various techniques to the class.
Students are encouraged to exercise their creativity and make new and interesting sounds of their
own, forming unique rhythms and beat sequences that make for an entertaining mini performance.

The Confident Young Communicator
ISTAVIN’s Confident Young Communicator
programs will ensure that young champions
are fully prepared for class presentations in
school. The workshop will focus on overcoming
nervousness in front of an audience, presentation
skills, and teach students to think on their feet. It
will also teach students how to present their ideas
and answers in an organised, logical way for
more effective presentations.
Singing & Movement
CHILDREN will learn to sing and dance to tunes
from Disney, Hi-5, musicals and other favourites. This
program encourages children to express themselves
through music and dance in a fun and interactive way.
It also helps children to develop better motor skills
and overall coordination, and be exposed to the joy of
performance. Lastly, children can build team spirit and
self-confidence through group activities.
DOES your child love dancing? Now
in this Toddler Ballet class, children
will learn basic dance steps with the
use of their arms, pointing of feet
and the use of space while dancing
along to nursery rhymes and catchy
tunes. The lessons are conducted by

Ballet For Children
THIS interactive program on etiquette focuses on up-todate
social and communications skills that build selfesteem,
self-respect, and respect for others. Parents that
recognise the need for social graces should send their
children to this workshop to hone their etiquette and
manners. Experts will teach the rules of social graces in a
fun and interactive way that includes role-playing exercises.
Topics covered will include how to shake hands properly,
being a good host and guest, how to give and receive
compliments gracefully and more!
Tell Us A Story
LET your imagination come alive! Join us for
an awesome activity and a splendid story in
this afternoon storytelling session for children
aged 4 – 7 years old. Parents are welcome to
join in the fun! Miss Dee is a Speech and Drama
instructor with a contagious enthusiasm for
stories, and will take you and your child on an exciting ride
through storytelling.
