A new academic year brings with it new beginnings.
For many of you, this semester represents
your first taste of the college experience. We
understand this can be a challenging and, at times,
bewildering chapter in the lives of many people.
That’s why we’ve designed this Success Guide to
acquaint new and returning Carl Sandburg College
students with services, policies, procedures and
regulations of the College. It also introduces you to
various campus events, sources of information and
expected guidelines of behavior.
When is my tuition due? Does it cost anything to
use the Fitness Center? How do I check out books
from the Library? The answer to those questions
— and many more — can be found in this Success
Guide. Using this Success Guide will not only help
you become more familiar the College and comfortable during your transition but also
provide tips to help you achieve the ultimate objective of obtaining a degree from Carl
Sandburg College.
