How do I get a library card?<br />
The YU Card is your <strong>of</strong>ficial ID card and it is also your library card.<br />
Can I renew materials I have borrowed online?<br />
You cannot renew Reserves but you can renew other materials on the library website by clicking<br />
on Renew Online. http://theta.library.yorku.ca/uhtbin/cgisirsi/x/x/0/1/54/X \<br />
Where will I find materials on Reserve for my courses?<br />
Two hour reserve materials for the <strong>Schulich</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong> courses are held at the<br />
Circulation Desk in the Bronfman <strong>Business</strong> Library. One and three day reserve materials are<br />
shelved near the public workstations. Please look up the call number by searching in the<br />
Catalogue or click on the Reserves tab from the libraries home page www.library.yorku.ca ,<br />
before you ask at the Circulation Desk. You can search by instructor name or course number. In<br />
addition, there are links to full-text articles on the individual course reserve web pages.<br />
How do I get help with my research?<br />
Come to the reference desk in the Peter F. Bronfman <strong>Business</strong> Library or drop-in to any reference<br />
librarian’s <strong>of</strong>fice when the door is open. Use the IM chat service available on the Bronfman<br />
<strong>Business</strong> Library homepage http://www.library.yorku.ca/ccm/BG/index.htm. Send a question to<br />
our email reference at bgref@yorku.ca and your question will be answered within 24 hours. Book<br />
an appointment with a reference librarian. Call 416-736-5139 to ask a research question during<br />

Can I access library electronic resources from home?<br />
Many are available from home but some are only available from workstations in the library. For a<br />
list <strong>of</strong> business databases and how to access them, check the <strong>Business</strong> Resources A-Z Web page<br />
http://www.library.yorku.ca/ccm/BG/collections/businessonline.htm . To use the library's<br />
eResources (including indexes, databases and full text electronic journals) from home, you must<br />
be a registered <strong>York</strong> student, staff or faculty member. You must login using your Passport <strong>York</strong><br />
ID and PIN<br />
How do I reserve a group study room?<br />
Go to the Study Room Booking web page http://www.library.yorku.ca/ccm/BG/groupstudy.htm<br />
and select a library and fill in the form. Rooms in the Peter F. Bronfman <strong>Business</strong> Library can<br />
accommodate a minimum <strong>of</strong> 2 and up to 8 people. Bookings for rooms not occupied within the<br />
first 10 minutes <strong>of</strong> a scheduled time will be cancelled. Passport <strong>York</strong> is required to book a room.
