FOREWORD
This 1950 edition of the Numerical Parts Interchangeability Record is the latest published numerical
record of replacement parts for Hudson built cars of current and earlier models. It has been brought up to
date by adding parts and model information for the years 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1950 to date of publication,
and by removing many old numbers which are obsolete and no longer supplied.
In form and arrangement this book is similar to the book previously known as the Numerical Price List
with which Hudson parts men are familiar. Part numbers are arranged in numerical order, and each part is
identified by part number, description and models on which it is used.
The price column formerly carried in previous issues has been deleted. Prices will be continued in the
Parts Price List Supplements.
Space limitation necessitates the use of abbreviations wherever possible. On a succeeding page will
be found a list of easily understood abbreviations, arranged in alphabetical order, which are used throughout
the book. To assist in identifying cars, a list of chassis models is shown on the following page, in which the
cars are designated by name, model, wheelbase and starting serial number.
This book has been carefully checked for accuracy. Should you discover a error of any nature, please
bring it to our attention so that it may be corrected promptly.
