Robin Hood: Prince of
Thieves
This is supposed to be the film to
beat this summer which, based on the
performances of the "sure things" from
the past few seasons, may be more of
a curse than a blessing. Oscar champ
Kevin Costner stars as the noble
"Red Dawn" turned into a botched
actioner by )ohn Milius the same year,
and then had his acclaimed "The
Beast" buried by the post-David
Puttnam Columbia. The guy clearly
deserves a break, and this will no
doubt be it. A Warner Bros, release.
