around Dauphin for cross country skiing
and snowshoeing, this is a prime
area for winter adventures!
Vermillion Park has 3 km of groomed
trails including night skiing along
fully-lit trails until 11:00 pm.

Skating
Tie up your skates and head to the
Vermillion Park Pond, DCT Outdoor
Rink, Rotary Arena, Skating Oval or
Credit Union Place for public skating.
Snowmobiling
Dauphin is the gateway to over 1,000
km of designated groomed snowmobile
trails in the Parkland including
the Trans-Canada Snowmobile Trail.
Plan to spend a few days riding,
exploring and experiencing the region’s
spectacular scenery and natural
attractions. See trail maps on the map

Snopasses are required to use
Manitoba trails and are available at
Ashville Arctic Cat, Dauphin Speed &
Sport, Love & Persson Group,
Parkland Yamaha, Sticky’s Bait &
Tackle, TR Rentals.
The Dauphin Snowmobile Club
services and maintains 150kms of the
local trails. For details call 204-638-

The Intermountain Snowmobile Club
services and maintains of 500kms of
trails in the Ashville, Gilbert Plains,
Grandview and Ethelbert areas, as well
as in Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
The trail system is a minimum of 10
feet wide and signed to provincial standards.

The Ochre River Snowmobile Club
services and maintains 160km of
groomed trails south of Ochre River
and toward Riding Mountain National

Ice Fishing
Dauphin Lake is an ice fisher’s paradise
when the lake is transformed
into a winter village of ice fishing
shacks. Many lakes in the Duck
Mountain Provincial Park also offer
first-class ice fishing for a variety of
trout and other species.

The Dauphin Kings are in their 43rd
season in the Manitoba Junior Hockey
League. The Kings are proud to represent
Dauphin as hosts of the 2010 RBC
Cup in May, and invite you to cheer
