CNR Station & CN Park
(Provincial Heritage Site)
Once the hub of Dauphin, the
Canadian Northern Railway Station
provided a vital link for settlers
immigrating to the Parkland. The
building was constructed in 1912 and
is considered one of Manitoba’s finest
pieces of railway architecture. Its
impressive size, picturesque roofline,
dormers, turrets and decorative brick
and stonework are a remarkable focal
point in the community. Several offices
and the Dauphin Rail Museum
operate out of the CNR Station. The
adjacent park and path meanders east
through a variety of perennial grasses
and flowerbeds, to Main Street.
