The Parkland Recreation Complex
(PRC) is home to Manitoba’s only indoor
wave pool! This ever-expanding,
multi-purpose entertainment and recreation
facility includes an abundance
of banquet, meeting, concession and
entertainment venues (see pg. 31).
There are many family fun zones
including the McDonald’s playground.

Kinsmen Aquatic Centre
The facility houses Manitoba’s only
indoor wave pool; a four lane, 25
meter main tank for competitive
and recreational swimming plus a
zero depth entry into a leisure area.
The Centre also features a 150-foot
waterslide, 10-person hot tub, water
umbrella, birthday party room, ondeck
concession, viewing area and an
outdoor patio.

PRC Curling Rink
Recent acoustical upgrades to this
six-sheet curling rink have made this a
multi-use venue. Many bonspiels are
hosted by the curling clubs and it is an
ideal venue for events requiring a large
open space.

Credit Union Place
This new facility encompasses a
2,000 individual seat entertainment
venue along with a designated wheelchair
viewing area and state-of-theart
sound and acoustical system,
creating a second-to-none event
venue. It also includes the 211-meter
Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy rubberized
2-lane walking/running track, upper
and lower concessions, Strilkiwski
Viewing Lounge and meeting room,
liquor sales areas, two ticket offices
and eight large dressing rooms. The
offices of the Dauphin Kings Junior
‘A’ Hockey Club and Dauphin
Agricultural Society are located in
the facility.
Rotary Arena
This arena is equipped with a 185’ by
80’ floor surface that can be used for
a variety of events and activities. The
facility has bleacher seating, concession,
a meeting room and an open
mezzanine area for viewing activities
on the arena floor.

DMCC Fair Grounds
The Dauphin Memorial Community
Centre grounds cover over 50 acres
and are home to the Dauphin Fair
and Cruisin’ Dauphin. There are six
baseball diamonds, senior ball diamond,
concessions, agricultural sale
barn and three livestock barns with
stalls and a 10-stall animal wash rack.
Ample audience seating is available
for harness, chariot and chuckwagon
racing, and stock car races. The
DCT Outdoor Rink, located on the
grounds, is a great place for outdoor
skating with lights for evening use
and heated change rooms.

Community Cinema
A state-of-the-art, multiuse
theatre is coming to
Dauphin, and will be
built adjacent to the Parkland
Recreation Complex!
The 4-plex facility
with stadium seating will
feature new release movies,
the latest technology
including 3D capabilities,
private rentals and
special events/programming.
Construction of
this innovative, community-owned
cinema will
begin in March, with
the first screening taking
place in late fall 2010!
