15.5.4 Flanger<br />

Classic industry standard Flanger with tempo based and free running rate control and<br />

stereo de-phasing.<br />

Advanced Mode<br />

SPRD (Stereo Spread)<br />

Creates a stereo spread effect by controlling the phase offset between the left and<br />

right stereo channel. Min: no phase offset Max: maximum phase offset (1/2 period)<br />

FEEDB (Feedback)<br />

Controls the strength of the Flanger’s feedback, making the effect stronger and more<br />

colorful. Min: small feedback Max: strong feedback<br />

Controls the rate of Flanger oscillation.<br />

The 11 available values are expressed in fractions of bars, and are equally distributed<br />

over the range of the knob. Min - Max: 16 bars, 8 bars, 4 bars, 2 bars, 4/4, 2/4, 3/8,<br />

1/4, 3/16, 1/8, 1/16<br />

When pressed, the direction of the oscillation is inverted, starts with the lowest frequency<br />

and moves upward.<br />

Master Panel resets the low frequency<br />

oscillation phase to zero (highest<br />

point).<br />

In Freerun mode (FR.R) the rate<br />

of the Flanger oscillation is not<br />

tied to the musical tempo and varies<br />

continuously from 30 sec (Min) to 1/30<br />

sec (Max).<br />

30 sec (Min) to 1/30 sec (Max).<br />
